KENAX Translation Agency began its operations in 1991 in the Czech Republic, the heart of Europe, and since then has grown to offer more than 210 languages of the world provided by translators located all over the world.

We have begun to cooperate with local representatives in various countries as part of our global consortium of translation resources. This helps us find translators in every country, and helps us manage large multi-language projects. For overall project management, we operate on a central computer server where project managers can log in from different time zones, enabling us to operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Furthermore, these project managers are located in countries with lower costs, enabling us to charge a low markup on top of what the translators charge, such that our translation rates start from as low as 0.04 USD per word. Over the years, while advertising for translators in different countries, we started seeking others who could deliver their work over the internet, such as programmers, graphics designers, typists and web designers, many of who live in low income areas, so that we can offer these services at a very competitive rate as well. Our external programmers have helped us develop our virtual office, a demo of which we can show you on request.

Not only does such a virtual office allow us to provide a solid service with continual support, both for our customers and our translators, but employing project managers and staff located in lower cost countries enables us to maintain a lower overhead and thus offer very competitive prices. Not only do we save because we do not have to pay for a large office, but the fact that our remote employees can use their own space as the office, working from the comfort of their home and on their own time schedule, means that they can offer us a more attractive rate than if they were to live in a large and expensive city and have to commute to work every day. They can save the two or more hours a day which they might otherwise spend commuting to and from work, tend more to their families, live in nature or a rural community where their costs would be lower, all these savings passed on to us to help us become a strong and competitive global partner.
Not only is this general policy a sound one for the purpose of creating a solid and competitive service, but it also serves our general desire to create a comfortable working environment, promote greater happiness in our increasingly overpopulated and high paced global community, while doing a good service to nature and our mother earth at the same time, since the remote employees do not have to cram in traffic, in overpopulated cities, and contribute to already excessive pollution.
On that note, KENAX is more than just a translation agency or outsourcer of human resources, but a proud promoter of a clean environment and happy souls. Which is why it is our firm conviction to set aside a generous percentage of our profits to charitable deeds.
As the bible says:

It is our firm conviction to dedicate as much of our resources as possible to translations for charity, so that we can complete our working day with sound contentment and rest our heads with a satisfied conscience.
